When washing your beach kaftan hand wash only in cold water using a non-biological powder to avoid bleaching. Stain removers may be used when gently massaged into the wet fabric. Follow by rinsing the item in clean cold water, as tap water can be as hot as 40 degrees, which may cause shrinking.
Always check the stain remover care advice to ensure it is suitable to be used on cotton and viscose fabrics. As with all dark dyed fabrics, some colour may wash out which is more apparent when hand washing.
For best results dry flat, out of direct sunlight and reshape whilst damp and hang. Iron if necessary on a low setting only for delicates. Your designer kaftan or holiday dress can be dry cleaned, but we do not recommend this regularly as strong chemicals can cause bleaching.
When packing your designer kaftan wrap in tissue to avoid contact with other items that may snag or pull the fabric when compressed against each other in a suitcase.
When wearing a beach kaftan or holiday dress be careful to avoid direct contact with watches or sharp jewellery that may catch or cause pulls in the fabric, as Mya Blue Beach cannot be held responsible for snags or catches caused by undue care or attention caused by the wearer.
After your Holiday hand wash your beach kaftan or holiday dress to remove salt and suntan lotion that may have built up into the fibres. Hang to air dry and either pack flat when totally dry or hang to keep the shape as preferred.
Avoid Contact with jewelllery as sharp objects such as watches and bracelets may cause snags.
SANDAL CARE
Colour & Leather Protector can be used on the Reef sandals to retain the colour and shine. Please read the protector care advice before using.
To prevent slipping we advise to 'scuff' the soles or add a non slip sole if required to the leather sandals to avoid slipping on wet surfaces.
When packing your beach sandals wrap in tissue or in other garments to avoid contact with delicate items as the soles or sequins may catch when compressed against each other in a suitcase. |
